137 Years of Glorious Journey

It is needless to say that the obstacles faced by expatriate Bengalis in the promotion, development, and preservation of Bengali culture in post-independence India are immense. Yet, the fact that they have continued to safeguard their cultural heritage amidst numerous adversities is truly commendable.

In the historic 1000 years heritage city of Cuttack, rich in tradition, known as the cultural capital of Odisha, Binapani club , a torch bearer of Bengali culture, has completed its 137th years of glorious journey with pride. Now stepping towards its second century, the Samity continues to contribute to the spiritual, social, and cultural development of the local Bengali society.

Durga Puja is not only a sacred ritual of worship but also a festival of solidarity, harmony, righteousness, universal brotherhood, and selfless service. Let us pledge together that our united efforts will continue to be fruitful and enduring.

It is our responsibility to pass on the eternal values of our language, literature, music, culture, and tradition to the coming generations. As inheritors of this tradition, we invite like-minded people to come forward in this journey.
